Mountains, Villages, and a Hidden Beach Day Tour from Palma

Leave the busy city life behind as we embark upon a journey to discover Mallorca’s natural, mountainous beauty. This unique trek will create lasting memories, as you experience serene views and a tranquil beach, which is loved by the locals!

The tour begins as we meet in central Palma, to take the public bus to our first destination. Upon arrival, trek down the historical path which was previously used by the local postmen to connect one village to the next. Don’t forget to take in the surreal panoramic mountain views as you walk with your local guide to an authentic gem of Mallorca, the village Banyalbufar in Serra de Tramuntana. Here you will experience the striking architecture and learn about the local agriculture traditions, which make this village so extraordinary.

From here, you will make your way down to the secluded pebble beach, which is highly popular with the Mallorquin people! Feel the rays of the Mallorquin sun as you relax on the beach and enjoy the gorgeous views of pristine Mediterranean waters.,. Even take a dip in the summer months! We will also provide you with some typical local snacks, so you will have the chance to taste some of Mallorca’s finest, classic delicacies. We hope that the trek has got stomach rumbling, as we introduce you to Mallorca’s delicious Empanada’s, or cocas de trampo. Still hungry? Don’t worry, we’ve got it sorted! Endulge your senses in our tasty treats and desserts! Try Mallorca’s famous ensaimada’s, or maybe you’d like to try the gato sprinkled with almonds? There must be a reason that locals can’t get enough of it, and we know that you will love it too! We want to make sure that you have the most authentic Mallorquin hiking experience as possible, which is why we make sure that all of this delicious food will be freshly ordered from the local village bakery, on the day!

Once we’ve finished relaxing on the picturesque beach, we will head up to take the bus back to Palma. Here, you will say goodbye to your local tour guide. But don’t forget, they are here to help and will give you any final tips to get the best from your trip to Mallorca!

Please note that we have classed the hike with a ‘medium’ difficulty level. It takes approximately three hours (including stops) and is a total of 10 kilometres long, with elevations of 300 metres up and almost 400 metres down. So grab your trainers or hiking boots and we will see you there!
