Otherside Boardsports, in sunny Islamorada Florida, is a unique company with a specialty in water sports. Our storefront serves primarily as a retail source and demo center with a family-oriented atmosphere. Staffed by our highly knowledgeable team, we know the business of kiteboarding, wakeboarding, wakesurfing and skating, stand-up paddleboarding and water apparel.
OUR MISSION IS TO MAXIMIZE OUR CUSTOMER’S FUN BY PROVIDING THE RIGHT KNOWLEDGE AND THE RIGHT EQUIPMENT FOR EACH INDIVIDUAL.
Since 1998, years of experience and good clean fun on the water has enabled us to live out our dreams of sharing water adventures with like-minded enthusiasts.
Our shop is the main hub for our students to make inquiries and check in for lessons. The shop possesses a clubhouse atmosphere where riders can come to check out the latest videos, gear or share the excitement of their latest session. What’s more, Otherside Boardsports has expanded its operations to include our new online retail web site, as well as our very own wake boarding cable park, Keys Cable.
As ambassadors to the world of water sports, our goal is to minimize your search time, by offering the highest quality equipment at the best price, so you can spend less time on the computer, and more time out on the water.
We care about people and are active within the community. We host a number of events including kiteboarding contests, parties, demos, safety clinics and beach clean-ups. We sponsor local talent, focusing on each individual’s attitude and aptitude in the community and in school, as well as their talents on a board.
Otherside Boardsports plays just as much emphasis on riding as competing. We strive to make an impression within the industry, and above all we serve as an avenue for the safe progression of the water sports we love. We are passionate about family, friends, community and sports – as we pride ourselves on sound business principles.
