Tour Overview…

Which locations to include in a day tour ? You will be spoilt for choice (so why not visit for longer, we can arrange accommodation!). We will tailor your tour: why not include some of the better known attractions but do take in some of the pretty Cotswold villages, such as Upper and Lower Slaughter, Stow on the Wold or Bourton on the Water, and of course, a pub lunch. Please either let us know in the Requests Box while booking or shoot us an email/ call and we will be happy to discuss intinerary including the following:

Cotswolds

  • An Area of Outstanding Natural beauty that includes some of the most lovely and ‘chocolate box’ countryside in England. Gentle rolling hills and honey coloured limestone villages complete with churches and traditional pubs, beautiful gardens, Regency Spa towns and historic monuments can all be found here.

Bourton on the Water

  • A truly picturesque village on the river Windrush, with traditional stone Costwolds buildings and village green. The village offers many shops, cafes and attractions and is always popular with visitors. Within easy reach of Bourton are several renowned gardens including internationally renowned Hidcote Manor and the cottage gardens and lavender fields at Snowshill Manor.

Blenheim Palace

  • Blenheim Palace in Woodstock, Oxfordshire is the home of the Duke of Marlborough, birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill and a World Heritage Site. Set in 2000 acres of lovely scenery, this Baroque palace offers imposing architecture and exquisite interiors, artworks and exhibitions.

Cheltenham

  • Cheltenham is a large spa town with Regency architecture, including Lansdown Terrace, and several notable museums and galleries.

Lacock

  • Lacock village dates from the 13th Century, with stone and half timbered houses. Managed by the National Trust it has featured in many film and tv programmes, including a Harry Potter film and the BBC drama Lark Rise to Candleford. Lacock Abbey is a fine country house, and the Fox-Talbot Museum is a must if you are into history of photography.
