Boulder Highlights Private Walking Tour

About

A private tour with WeVenture Denver is always a completely custom itinerary, created just for you and your group! A private walking tour can be from 2 hours - 8 hours, depending on the destination. While many visitors to Boulder have specific sites they would like to see, many are happy to let our team create a custom itinerary that fits their interests, budget, mobility, and timeline.

No two groups are alike and we will plan a trip tailored to your group's interests, budget, and needs. Below are some sample itineraries to use as inspiration for your perfect tour:

Highlights Tour:

Located 30-45 minutes northwest of Denver, Boulder is a wonderful mix of a historic Colorado city and vibrant college town. You’ll meet your guide in Boulder, a city under the view of the majestic Flatirons, and stroll along the brick-paved pedestrian walkway where street performers love to call Pearl Street Mall home. As the heart and soul of Boulder, this area is ideal for shopping, dining, and people-watching. Stops along this walking tour can include historic Hotel Boulderado, Boulder Theater, and Boulder County Courthouse, as well as public art on full display and many local artisans with their creative works housed in numerous galleries. Our Highlights tour option is usually 2-3 hours.

Half-Day Tour:

With some extra time added to our Highlights tour, the half-day option (4-5 hours) can include more time for a food or drink stop along Pearl Street Mall. Your local guide can introduce you to one of the popular indoor food halls – a foodie haven for all budgets – or one of their favorite spots to grab a brew. You’ll enjoy options that highlight local companies and tap into Colorado’s health-conscious and eco-friendly restaurant scene. Walk off your snack or beverage with a stroll along Boulder Creek Path, which cuts through the city and is known for “rock stacking” formations that line the waterway.

Full-Day Tour:

A longer experience (6-8 hours) gives us the opportunity to get off the beaten tourist path of downtown. We’ll continue on the Boulder Creek Path to the University of Colorado Boulder campus, designed using locally sourced stone. This campus has a uniform and unique appearance, perfect for photo-ops and great views of the city and surrounding mountains.
