About The Museum of Modern Art New York City’s Museum of Modern Art has been hailed as the world’s greatest collection of modern art. And it’s no wonder: with six floors of paintings, sculptures, drawings, photography, multimedia displays, and film, MoMA’s many exhibitions span every medium in the modern era. Spend some time among MoMA’s impressive collections, and you’ll see the world in a whole new way.

Enjoy direct entry to the galleries with your timed ticket! Your ticket also includes free audio programming in nine languages. Ages 0-16 receive free admission to MoMA. The checkroom is temporarily closed.

Help us protect the art and you (Our policies)
You can eat and drink in MoMA's restaurants, but food and beverages are not allowed in the galleries.
Admire artwork from a distance, at least an arm’s length. And no touching art, platforms, or cases (unless a sign or label says it’s okay).
Sketching and writing is allowed in the galleries with pencils only. Please use sketchbooks no larger than 8 ½ by 11 inches. Still photography is permitted at MoMA for personal, noncommercial use only unless otherwise noted. Video is not permitted. Flash, tripods, and camera extension poles are not allowed.
Baby strollers are welcome at MoMA, but stroller access may occasionally be limited in certain galleries. For your safety, strollers are not permitted on MoMA’s escalators.
Visitors may enter the galleries at MoMA with items up to 11 × 17 × 5” (28 × 43 × 13 cm). All bags are subject to security inspection. We reserve the right to refuse items.
