New Orleans City Driving Tour- 4hrs

General Itinerary
A private tour with WeVenture New Orleans is always a completely custom itinerary, created just for you and your group! A private city tour of New Orleans can be from 4 hours - 8 hours, depending on the destination. Pick-up and drop-off locations are the group’s choice. While many visitors to New Orleans have specific sites they would like to see, many are happy to let our team create a custom itinerary that fits their interests, budget, mobility, and timeline. Typically, tours spend most of their time in and around the heart of the city, but we welcome any ideas for your dream tour.

No two groups are alike and we will plan a trip tailored to your group's interests, budget, and needs. Below are some sample itineraries to use as inspiration for your perfect tour:

Half-Day Tour#:
Spend half your day with us (4-6 hours) to fit in the absolute must-sees of the Crescent City. One of the most iconic neighborhoods you’ll want to explore with your local, knowledgeable guide is the French Quarter, home to the most mouth-watering Cajun and Creole dishes in the city.

Visit some of the best places for gumbo, indulge in an oyster tasting, and wash down a powdery beignet with a delicious cup of coffee. You’ll have a chance to stretch your legs with a walk down historic streets of the Vieux Carre, including Bourbon Street, and take some memorable photos at one of the most recognized landmarks of New Orleans, Jackson Square and the majestic St. Louis Cathedral. Most of the French Quarter is best explored on foot.

We can hop in the vehicle to make our way over to the leafy neighborhood of the Garden District, known for its "gingerbread" mansions of the late-Victorian period. Next door, the Irish Channel neighborhood presents a stark juxtaposition of working-class homes to the Garden District’s affluent upper-class residences.

Full-Day Tour#:
A tour up to 8 hours will give you the chance to explore more of the neighborhoods surrounding the French Quarter, such as Tremé, the oldest African-American neighborhood in the United States. For music enthusiasts, we’ll be happy to arrange admission to the New Orleans Jazz Museum to learn about some of New Orleans' notable jazz musicians.

The Bywater neighborhood will appeal to art lovers, its streets filled with beautiful and eclectic murals. Here, you might want to try the praline bacon at a neighborhood landmark and view the Mississippi River and city skyline from Crescent Park.

Based on your group’s interests, there are a number of other fascinating neighborhoods to explore for their food and live music scenes. And if you’re looking for a unique way to see New Orleans, let us arrange a cruise on the river, and where you can laissez les bon temps rouler!
