During the summer months, the water of the Banana River Lagoon comes alive after sunset with Bioluminescence. A microscopic organism begins to activate one of the most amazing chemical reactions found in the world. Watch as every stroke of your paddle illuminates the water! A speeding school of mullet swimming under your kayak looks like hundreds of green bottle rockets going off underwater.
On this Expedition, you will be guided into the labyrinths of the mangrove forest, with keyhole openings, an overhead canopy and watery trails that will twist your sense of direction.
This tour is perfect for first-time paddlers, and anyone looking to get away from the theme parks and immersed into nature! Along the way you’ll learn paddling skills and learn how to effectively maneuver a kayak on the water.
