Owners Mark Gamez and Christian De La Iglesia both Miami natives and avid surfers since the mid-eighties and extensive backgrounds in the surf and skate industries opened F1RST in 2008 located on 1st street in between Washington and Collins Avenue, two blocks away from South Beach's premier beach break known as South Pointe. Without sacrificing the core surf audience, Mark & Christian wanted to offer a unique boutique shopping experience without losing the core value or integrity of a well trained and knowledgable staff and store. With a few dollars and a dream, F1RST SURF SUPPLY Co was born.

Now nearing it's 5th year in business, F1RST SURF SHOP relocated in the summer of 2010 to the corner of South Pointe and Ocean Drive at the Continuum, located less than 50 footsteps from the sandy beachs of Miami.
