We go into the backwaters of the local rivers to capture our beautiful wildlife up close. Here in Wilmington, a vast amount of our history is on the river. See the Colonial rice canals up close in Eagles’ island, take a trip on the Black River into the “3 Sisters Swamp” to see the oldest known living Cypress tress. We use kayaks and canoes for larger groups into these narrower places.Also our 24ft Carolina Skiff or 18ft Simmons for groups up to six. As you continue on the site, you see that we enjoy focusing on teaching kids and adults about outdoor skills.
